Sestola: the winter paradise for snow sports enthusiasts

The town of Sestola is a small paradise for spending a winter holiday, catering to both sports enthusiasts and those who are not. Here, you can explore the Cimone District, the first ski resort in the Modenese Apennines with more than 50km of slopes.

From the centre of the town of Sestola, a chairlift departs, connecting, without long queues (if you want to leave your car at the hotel), the small ski resort of Pian del Falco, a delightful station with its small church in the centre and slopes for beginners and children all around. Alternatively, there is the larger one called Passo del Lupo at the foot of Mount Cimone, near Lake della Ninfa. In all these stations, you can find all the services you need to spend a day in the high mountains: rentals, bars, restaurants, refuges, Baby Park, etc.

The downhill slopes, snowboarding areas, freestyle and freeride options, and cross-country skiing tracks with guaranteed snow cover are served by modern ski lifts, accessible with a single ski pass.
